Work in progress

Updated: May 2, 2020

Hello Readers.

Yesterday I mention briefly my graded unit. The short explanation is a graded unit is a rapid fire element of a high level learning course in Scotland. This is only part of the course you gain a A to C graded. You get 18 weeks to complete it and three deadlines. To fail any hand in is a fail. The whole time you have other elements to complete too.

This is my main stress right now.

Being on an artistic degree, (year two) my unit is two part written and one part, the huge part practical.

I have chosen a quilt on the theme of infant loss. Hand dyed panels each with text on them. The words are either wrong or right things to say to parents of angels, or emotions the parents feel.

This is a personal topic for me and emotionally draining at times. 😢

Today was a turning point. The panels are now rows and the rows are being joined together.

This is the point you begin to see your quilt.

With three weeks to go we have a long way to go.

Wish me luck 🍀🤞
