Hello everyone.

I am happy to announce that classes have resumed and even though things are not the same it's a joyful step in the right direction.

The first project of the term has allowed me to take another look at my drawing skills once again. I bit the bullet and faced portraiture again.

It was amazing to feel the graphite move on the paper the whole time seeing the image take shape.

The first attempt was a disaster and I regretted adding colour to the piece.

I however loved the hand.

So I took a step back and decided to try again but stayed with the graphite and monochrome tones.

I am happy with this piece
